Writing Sample
This writing sample is from my summer marketing internship at CG Infinity. This internship occurred right after I finished my PR Writing course. I wrote a blog article over the course of three weeks called "The Impact of Chatbots, GPT, Salesforce, and Snowflake Data Warehouse Integration". I did my research and gathered this data for this blog with the help of my mentors. I created this for the intended audience of CG Infinity employees and key publics of CG Infinity's social media platforms. The purpose was to inform the public about the impact of AI and how it is affecting the workplace in a positive and negative way. I completed this blog at the end of July 2023. I used my research process and critical thinking skills when drafting this blog along with using Microsoft Word. Overall I have learned more about the proper way to research and how to write a proper blog and I learned more about the benefits of AI.
Personal Branding
This multi-media work is my Personal Branding assignment that I created over the course of a couple of weeks for Public Relations Principles. We were tasked to learn more about ourselves and improve our overall social media and personal brand. I took a personality quiz that helped me learn more about myself and compared my Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I was inspired by this work because it encouraged me to not only dive deep and learn more about myself, but also become creative and think of how I want to brand myself. I completed this at the end of 2022 and have continuously looked back at it. I used all my social media platforms along with PowerPoint and Microsoft word. I utilized my design skills, and digital skills when completing this work. I learned so much about myself and what I want to do when I graduate.
Creative Spotify Ad
This is one of my favorite pieces of work that I created and it was also one of my first pieces of work that made me realize how much I love design. I completed this work for a Public Design Course that I took. The objective was to pick a company and design an advertisement for them like the company made it themselves. I researched Spotify's advertisements that they have produced in the past and I looked at their color scheme and logo. I wanted to design an ad that showed the personality of the company and persuade people to partake in Sportify. I completed this in May of 2023 and used my skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesgin to create this content. Ovearll I learned how to put my creativity to the test.
Creating and Identifying Personas
I wanted to showcase this work I did because it was something that didn't come easy to me but was very beneficial in the long run. The objective of this work was to create three personas for the company Orange Theory. I completed this work in my Social Media Marketing Class and the goal was to learn more about how to identify a company or organization's target audience. I completed this work in December of 2023. This was an individual assignment even though most of the work that was completed was group work. I utilized my design skills and research skills to create these personas based on my findings.
Cyberscanning the Environment
This research piece of work was created to learn how to environmentally scan research. I learned and created this piece of content in Public Relations Research. This work required extensive research on the idea of global warming and waht does and doesn't harm the environment. The purpose was to inform the audience about my findings and my opinions about them. I created this piece in September 2023 as an individual assignment. I used my research skills to complete this task and strengthen them as well. Overall I learned not only a lot about global warming but also about cyber scanning and how to research that material on scholarly sources.
