What is a brochure? A brochure is a promotional document introducing a company, organization, products, or services to inform customers of certain benefits. Williams Whittle created five different steps when creating a brochure, precisely what helped me.

1. Define who will be reading your brochure

Identifying your target audience when writing a brochure or just when analyzing or writing anything in PR is essential. This is how you will build your demographic and learn more about the audience's psychographics. Williams Whittle said that the most challenging part of creating your brochure based on your target audience is not to design it for one specific audience. The brochure should be equally appealing to each audience and appeal to audiences with different backgrounds.

2. Characterize the design that will appeal to the reader

Thinking about the audience's likes and dislikes is essential when creating a design for your brochure. Thinking about more designs that are modern and, to date, are more appealing because it looks like a cleaner and fresher look that is professional yet fun. It's also essential to create a design that can appeal to a younger audience because they are the future of this generation. Lastly, make sure the colors are cohesive and meaningful to your promotion. Typography and pictures can only take the design so far.

3. Determine what your need to say and how to say it

Ensure you are clear about what and how you want to get your message across because that should be the main focus of the brochure. Create an outline to ensure you know how you want to communicate so you don't leave anything out. In order to continue your modern design feel, it's essential to match the communication. It would be the piece that makes the brochure whole.

4. Select photos that tell your story

Williams Whittle said that pictures are the first thing that attracts the reader's attention, and I agree. The picture will tell the story of your brochure so crucial that it grabs the reader's attention. Including lifestyle, photos will show the environment and will be able to relate to the audience. Including photos from the promotion's website is a great marketing technique because the audience will be able to recognize the photos from the brochure and if they are only from the website, newsletter, etc.

5. Try to imagine what you want the final brochure to look like

This is the last and final step of the process and one of the essential tips. Thinking about the type of paper, the fonts, and the price when printing your brochure are factors that everyone should consider when it comes to finalization. The final product reflects your promotion, so thoroughly thinking of these factors and visualizing them in your head will be more impactful than you think.
